2009 Activities:

Creating a More Livable Community, May 4-5, 2009

While each of us has a responsibility to make healthy choices our environment often conspires against us. Cheap available food beckons us to overeat. Home and work demands keep us off the bike path. Labor saving devices like computers and cars aren't going to disappear. How can healthy choices be supported wherever we work, live and play in our community?

Healthy Active Klamath Coalition has invited nationally recognized speaker, Mark Fenton, to address these issues. Author, athlete and advocate, Mark is an expert on public health issues and the need for community, environmental and public-policy initiatives to encourage more walking and bicycling. Event Flier
